CC3C - Painted Industrial

It's Saturday again craft lovers! That means it's time for another challenge in the new Compendium of Curiosities III Challenge!!! Many many thanks again for all the previous entries and of course comments! The Curiosity Crew and I are always amazed! We have had a very hard time choosing a Curiosity Crew winner, but you all know that because it's the same every two weeks. Keep those projects coming so you have a chance to win some amazing loot.
This challenge, number seven, is Painted Industrial...a yummy metal challenge!  I hope you play along on this challenge using one of my most favorite techniques, so you can win some fabulous prizes donated by the ever generous Tim and Mario, and this seventh challenge's sponsor, Inspiration Emporium!!!  AND, I've been looking forward to this challenge the most, as I can't wait to see what the rest of you make, so I too can be inspired by you! You will have two weeks to complete this challenge and link it up to the CC3Challenge site, and you can read all the rules here. Please take the time to visit every member of the Curiosity Crew (See below.) for not only some beautiful industrial feel inspiration, but for a chance to win some extra goodies!
The technique Painted Industrial, as the name implies, screams 'industrial', 'steam punk', and 'metal madness' to me.  I knew instantly that my project would be heavy on the metal (I couldn't create with Idea-ology!!!) and quirky. I loved covering this wooden birdie up. I also used Wendy's Embossing Pastes and Ranger Archival Ink for the wooden base.

I hope this SteamPunk Whirly Bird winds up yours creative spirit! I can't wait to see what you all make on this challenge!

 Supplies:

I hope your hands get creatively dirty soon!
